Typically, only one or two sprinklers engage in response to localized heat, alleviating concerns homeowners may have about accidental activation due to minor kitchen mishaps, such as a burned pizza.
Routine maintenance for fire sprinklers is minimal. Homeowners can conduct simple tests semi-annually or engage professionals for thorough assessments to ensure functionality. Builders recouped 85% to 125% of sprinkler installation costs through such incentives.
